Style File: Power Twins

Well shit. I promised a Style File to the winner of the "Who's Your Style Icon" poll and I had yet to deliver...until today, that is.

And I was looking forever for a similar lace shawl to that which Mary Kate Olsen is wearing in the photo below. But, alas, after much searching it could not be found. (If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to leave them in the comments below.) My best guess is that it's a vintage find and the only way you're going to find one similar is to hunt through the bins in thrift stores.

Agh! I adore this gray skirt. And I love it even more that it's called a Disco Skirt. The tulip style has been prominently featured lately on the runways and I have a feeling we're going to be seeing more.

I adore these boots and I think they're the perfect solution to the ankle boot crisis. (Crisis?) Yeah, but seriously it's hard to find a good set of ankle boots. And I believe that these are them.

4. Men's Linen-Blend Shirt
Ain't no shame wearing men's clothing and the Olsen's know the importance of this. The whole androgynous look is very big right now. Just be sure to order this shirt so that it will hit your legs mid-thigh.

5. Gold Rolex
The large masculine wrist watch has been a staple of the Olsen's style for a couple of years now. You can find Rolex's being sold at every major department store. And when you get one be sure to pick me up one. Thanks in advance. ;)

6. Women's Opaque Tights
I mean you could buy some expensive Wolford tights if you really want. But when it comes down to it, they're just tights. So why not just buy the cheap ones. These ones by Old Navy are a perfect example.

Neon colors & Day Glow accessories are very big this season. But be sure to just use them in very conservative ways so that you don't look like you're going to a rave. This is a perfect example.
