Ashley Olsen was in Dallas this past week to promote both her and her sisters line The Row. Apparently she's taking more control of this particular line than her sister, so that Mary Kate can focus primarily on her acting. And unlike their Elizabeth & James line, as well as their Mary Kate & Ashley Walmart-like products; this line is entirely produced by them. Surprise!
And we had thought that Ashley, along with Mary Kate had dropped out of NYU but according her they are just on an extended hiatus to pursue their separate interests. Riiiight. If we had billions of dollars we don't think we'd be sitting in school either. (Remember that W article where Mary Kate said something along the lines of, "Writing essays is not what I need to be doing right now.") Right...
But we digress...The Row expanded from 18 looks for the Spring 2007 line to 110 for the Fall 2008 collection. All pieces are made in the US and they can't stop the Olsen's from pimping out that the reason you should buy these basics is because of the quality of fabric and the supreme fit. Ah, the fit!
We're not denying that they're beautiful pieces either, though. I mean, look at the picture we've included of Ashley. All the items she's wearing are from The Row line. But we know we can get them for so much cheaper. Like those leather leggings she's wearing? Try Kova & T from their last season. (We alerted you to Kova & T in January.)

We've also included a video of their past holiday collection if you're curious what the collection's basis is.
